Welldon WD025 is tested and certified in accordance with the latest European safety standard ECE R129/03, also known as i-Size. i-Size is characterized by safety for children of all ages, which the carseat also offers, as it can be used from the toddler stage (9 months) up to an age when the child no longer needs a child seat.

5-point harness protection
The Welldon WD025 has an integrated 5-point harness, which is the safest security method for children in car seats. In the event of a collision, the impact force is distributed over five points: two at the shoulders, two at the hips and one at the seat belt buckle between the legs. This helps protect your child from being hit by the full force at once.

Seat protectors
Soft seat belt protectors keep the child securely in place in the event of a collision and at the same time ensure that the 5-point seat belt is comfortable and does not bother the child.

Installation
The Welldon WD025 can be mounted in three different ways:

76 – 105 cm: Isofix + Top harness.
100 – 150 cm: 1. Isofix + the car's 3-point seat belt.
100 – 150 cm: 2. The car's 3-point seat belt.

Installation with isofix is ??a simple and safe process, which is the recommended way to install a car seat. The chair's isofix connections are mounted with a single click in the car's isofix bracket until the indicator shows a green light. (Remember to check whether your car has built-in isofix).

Top Tether is a top anchorage with a hook, which keeps the car seat better in place and minimizes the risk of possible injuries to the head and neck in the event of a collision. The top anchorage provides greater stability and safety for your child compared to seats with conventional anchorages.

How to do it: Attach the Top Tether anchor to the anchor point behind the car seat and tighten until the indicator shows a green light.

The car seat's integrated 5-point harness protection can be used until the child reaches a maximum height of 100 cm. The 5-point harness is then stored in the built-in box in the backrest, which is specially designed for storing the harness.

5-point harness has a practical tightening function.
How to do it: Release the buckle and pull the harness straps so that they loosen and give the child plenty of room. Place the child in the car seat and fasten the seat belt. Tighten the shoulder straps so that they are tight.

When the child reaches a height of 100-150 cm, switch from the integrated 5-point harness to the car's 3-point harness.

NOTE: The child must be a maximum of 100 cm tall when you switch to a 3-point harness.

How to do it: When you change to a 3-point harness, first adjust the height of the headrest to suit your child. Route the vehicle seat belt through the seat's seat belt grommets. Place the child in the car seat and fasten the vehicle seat belt with an audible "click".
